On Wednesday 25th May Mr Tom Vennell visited the wreck site, with two friends, to see the place where his father George F Vennell survived the sinking of H.M.S Royal Oak. Tom was born in 1940, if his father had been lost he would never been born. George passed away when Tom was 8 years old. |
